So how does it work?
Passenger Payments:
- When booking the passenger receives usual SMS confirming the job and driver on route message via text back sims.
- When the journey starts and passengers are in the cab they receive a message to ask them if they want to pay contactless or cash.
- If they reply with cash payment then the job stays as is, if they request to pay contactless then ghost will update the system.
- At the end of the job when the driver has swiped “arrived” the customer receives a text message from "Your Company Name" with the actual amount of the fare.
- The passenger will make the payment through their mobile device.
- The payment is authorized or declined on the spot.
- Once payment is confirmed ghost clears the job.
- The passenger receives an SMS confirming payment
- There are only 2 SMS per job for contactless payments.
Driver Rent Payments:
- On a specific day/ time Ghost will send the driver with the actual amount of the driver rent due.
- The driver receives an SMS to pay
- Driver uses their mobile device to make the payment
- The payment is authorized or declined on the spot.
- Once payment is confirmed ghost updates the account to paid.
- Ghost updates the driver account
- Driver receives a SMS to confirm payment
- You can deactivate the driver if payment is not received within a timeframe through Ghost
- There are only 2 SMS per job for contactless payments.
